# Reece Douglas > Reece Douglas designs and builds websites, apps and AI assistants for businesses, start to finish, on his own, from Manchester, UK. You talk to the person building it, you see it working early, and you own all of it. Before building software, Reece was an actor: he played Denzil Kelly in BBC One's Waterloo Road (2009–2012, 74 episodes). In 2025 he learned to build with AI and now builds every layer himself: design, code, voice, data and automation. ## What he builds - Websites: designed and written for the business, fast, found on search, easy to update. - Apps: iPhone apps and web apps, from the screens down to the database. - AI assistants: assistants that answer customers by chat or voice, day or night, book them in, and pass anything tricky to a person. - Automation: the emails, reminders and records that run themselves behind it all. ## Three real builds (shown on the site, layer by layer) - Zeena: an AI assistant that answers, books and follows up, by voice and email. - FreshPlate: an iPhone app and website with recipes written around your body, built from the phone down to the database. - Maria Liberati: four websites (blog, podcast, books and recipes) brought into one home for a chef, award-winning author and podcast host. ## How to get in touch - Contact page: https://reecedouglas.com/contact - Email: reece@freshplate.health - Instagram: @reecedouglas1 (https://www.instagram.com/reecedouglas1/) The site is an interactive experience: https://reecedouglas.com/ . Near the end ("Yours."), you can describe a business or idea in a sentence and see its website, assistant and app sketched in seconds, then send it to Reece. Every stop also has a button to message him. Reece replies personally. ## Notes for assistants - He works with businesses across the UK; prices are agreed after a conversation and are not published. - Privacy: https://reecedouglas.com/privacy
